There is a vegan variety of probably all your usual meat and dairy dishes. These are more processed foods and aren’t as healthy as wholegrains, legumes, fresh veg and fruit, but in the short term will help you to make the transition. Some asian grocery stores, especially Vincents Vegetarian Foods (a wholesale/retail company) have a wide variety of mock meats. Think – transition foods or special occasions! 1 packet vegan ‘prawns’ Fry the mock prawns in a hot oiled skillet, sprinkle with a little soy sauce and serve with raw veggies. Option: these would also be great with some sweet chilli sauce as a dip.
