Berry Smoothie with Greens

I would never have dreamed of putting greens into my smoothies until recently, but now I’ve started I’m addicted! This is a great way of getting your greens. You can start off with a small handful and then increase the amount as you get used to the taste. You can mix up the greens you try, using a few different ones, or one kind. I use a mixture of spinach, lettuce (not iceberg), bok choy, Chinese broccoli, parsley and chicory leaves. It can turn out a slightly unusual colour, but the fruit gives it a lovely flavour!

1 cup berries (frozen or fresh)
1 small banana
Juice of 2 oranges
Handful of greens

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Add a little water if the smoothie is too thick.
