Crostini and Dips

makes 25-30 crostini

 

 

1 French baguette

Olive oil

garlic clove

salt and pepper

your favourite herbs or spices (we like rosemary, thyme or caraway seeds)

 

Preheat oven to a medium heat.

 

Cut the baguetts into approximately 1cm slices.

 

Lay on a baking tray and brush each with a little olive oil.

 

Cut the garlic clove in half and rub the cut side over eat slice. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with herbs (if using).

 

Turn over the slices and repeat.

 

Bake in oven until golden brown.

 

Serve with your favourite dips. We used thos pictured below, all from our local supermarket.
