Welcome to the 30 Day Vegan Easy Challenge!
Thank you for your interest in the 30 Day Vegan Easy Challenge. This is the first Challenge of its kind in Australia and veganism is definitely the way forward for a sustainable future, especially with climate breakdown breathing down our necks. If you go to the menu section on this
website you will find 30 days of recipes with photos for breakfast, lunch and
dinner. There is also a variety of sweets and side dishes you can make on the recipe page. Of course
you don’t need to stick to our menu plan, it’s there to give you an idea of
what to eat. Animal Liberation Victoria (ALV) is launching the 30
Day Vegan Easy Challenge at World Vegan Day on 1 November 2009, at the
Abbotsford Convent, 1 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford between 10am and 5pm.
VNV organize this great day out for families and friends with lots of vegan
stalls, food, music, talks and cooking demonstrations. Vegan BBQ – November 15 ALV will be holding a sausage sizzle at the popular
and busy South Melbourne Market on Sunday, 15 November 2009 between 8.30am and
1pm, so if you’re in the area be sure to come along and try out some vegan
sausages, burgers, skewers and tofu scramble while also having a great day out
shopping at one of Melbourne’s premier markets..
There is a $1,000 first prize and 3 great gift baskets
full of vegan products on offer to 4 lucky people that complete the
Challenge. To be eligible to enter the prize draw we ask that you stick
to a vegan diet for the 30 days of the Challenge. This means eating anything
you want except animal products (including meat, chicken, fish, dairy, eggs and
honey.) That may sound hard, especially if you’ve been eating these things all
your life, but once you’re in the swing of vegan cooking/eating it will be as
straightforward and easy as your current diet is now. For the purposes of this
Challenge we are focusing on a vegan diet, however we wholly encourage
you to switch to vegan products in other areas of your life too, like cosmetics
and clothing. VEGAN – You can’t get kinder, healthier or greener! |
