Garlic and Lemon Roasted Asparagus

Asparagus, like most vegetables, is delicious roasted. The garlic and lemon make it a little extra special.

 

 

2 bunches asparagus

4-6 garlic cloves

half a lemon

olive oil

salt and freshly ground pepper

 

 

Cut the woody ends off the asparagus and place on a tray.

 

Squash the garlic cloves a little (you can leave the skins on) and throw in the pan with the asparagus and lemon.

 

Drizzle with a little olive oil and season to taste.

 

Roast for 15-20 minutes.
