Banana Berry Smoothie
Smoothies are always a great fix for when you need to get up and go out the door in a hurry.
Serves 1 | Prep time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 0 mins
INGREDIENTS
Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 banana (preferably frozen)
- 1 cup berries
- 1 cup fortified soy milk
- 1/4 cup oats
- 2 tsp ground flaxseed
Toast Ingredients
- 1 slice wholemeal toast
- 1 tsp Vegemite
- 1 tsp vegan margarine (optional)
METHOD
- Blend all smoothie ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Serve with toast and Vegemite.

Best Smoothie!! – I added some chia seeds and hemp seeds for extra nutrients and it worked out great :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the smoothie. This has been a favourite of mine for years- even before I switched to vegan I would use cow’s milk. Very filling and quick and easy for when I am rushing to get out the door.
Can’t beat a slice a toast with Vegemite!
