This classic Aussie breakfast is easy to veganise with some fortified soy milk.

Serves 1 | Prep time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 0 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Weet-Bix (whole wheat breakfast biscuits)
  • 1 cup fortified soy milk
  • 1 banana (or kiwi or other fruit)
  • A few strawberries
  • 2 tsp of ground flaxseeds
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)

METHOD

  1. Sprinkle the flaxseeds and cinnamon over the Weet-Bix, then top with soy milk and sliced fruit.

    I eat weetbix everyday and the only delicious way is to crunch them up then pour cinnamon and a drop of maple syrup on top then top with milk and eat crunchy not soggy. I don’t like flaxseeds so won’t add them.

      Thanks for trying!
      You could always replace the Weet-bix with something else you like. For example, oat meal, or vegan granola.
