Banana & Flaxseed Weet-Bix
This classic Aussie breakfast is easy to veganise with some fortified soy milk.
Serves 1 | Prep time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 0 mins
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Weet-Bix (whole wheat breakfast biscuits)
- 1 cup fortified soy milk
- 1 banana (or kiwi or other fruit)
- A few strawberries
- 2 tsp of ground flaxseeds
- Sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)
METHOD
- Sprinkle the flaxseeds and cinnamon over the Weet-Bix, then top with soy milk and sliced fruit.

I eat weetbix everyday and the only delicious way is to crunch them up then pour cinnamon and a drop of maple syrup on top then top with milk and eat crunchy not soggy. I don’t like flaxseeds so won’t add them.
Not my favorite but trying the process.

You could always replace the Weet-bix with something else you like. For example, oat meal, or vegan granola.
